City Council Meeting Minutes December 21, 1992 page seven Clerk/Administrator Siebenaler explained that according to City policy the City Hall would be closed on the day preceding Christmas and New Years, however, staff would not be paid for non-attendance on that day_ Staff would however be paid on a pro-rated basis for the holidays of Christmas Day and New Year~s Day. Council member Wilharber indicated that he received a complaint concerning the hours of operation of the City Hall and that the complainant indicated he would like to see the City Hall open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Council member Wilharber indicated to the complainant that having the City Hall open that length of time would increase the cost for staff and that the issue will be researched in January by the Employee Review Board. NEW BUSINESS 1. DIRT TRACK RIDERS ASSOCIATION EVENT - CENTERVILLE LAKE. Clerk/Administrator Siebenaler explained that the Dirt Track Riders Association is requesting to hold a race on January 30 and February 1, 1993 as they have in the past. Council member Burgstahler indicated that this is not his favorite event for the lake, however, it has taken place in the past and does not want to interfere with plans at this time. Motion was made by Council member Pelton to approve the Dirt Track Riders Association#s request providing the applicant contact the Circle Pines/Lexington Police Department, the Centennial Fire Department, the Anoka County Sheriff and the Department of Natural Resources. Motion was seconded by Council member Wilharber, and upon vote, unanimously approved. 2. COMMON GROUND POLICE SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE - REPLACEMENT. Council member Wilharber indicated that, due to a new Council coming on in January, he felt that a replacement for the common ground representative should be made by the new Council. Council member Wilharber indicated that he would serve as an interim representative until one is appointed. No action was taken on this item. 6.3 ACORN CREEK COMMITTEE MEMBER REPLACEMENT (2). Council member Pelton indicated that she would like to continue on this Committee on an interim basis.
