<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 24, 1992 <br />page five <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to accept Gilbert <br />Construction as the Construction Manager for the municipal and <br />fire hall building, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to authorize the signing of a <br />contract with Gilbert Construction contingent upon: <br />Gilbert Construction providing cost estimates within <br />the budget of the City of Centerville; <br />the construction manager providing a bond for the <br />project; <br />upon proper completion and execution of the appropriate <br />paper work; <br />upon satisfactory approval of the City Attorney of the <br />contract, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Progress Road <br />John Stewart, <br />District has <br />sidewalk area <br />year. <br /> <br />and Westview Street Imorovement <br />City Engineer, advised that the Centennial School <br />requested that the City of Centerville construct a <br />in 1992 and consider the road work in a subsequent <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to postpone the <br />improvement of Progress Road and Westview Street unless the <br />sidewalk and road work can be scheduled together either this year <br />or in subsequent years, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Municipal Well <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Buckbee to approve the awarding <br />of the bid for the second municipal well to the apparent low <br />bidder of the base bid to be E.H. Renner and Sons for a dollar <br />amount of $30,197.00, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to authorize Council <br />member Pelton to work with the City Engineer regarding the <br />clearing and grubbing of the path for E. H. Renner and Sons to <br />drill the second municipal well, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Peltier Lake Drive Culvert <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to table discussion of <br />the Peltier Lake Drive culvert improvement until a receipt of a <br />response from the appropriate agencies regarding the replacement <br />of said improvement, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Center Hills - Second Addition <br />Ro-So Contracting, Inc., sent a letter to the City <br />dated June 23, 1992 requesting an extension until <br />for completion of work on the Center Hills, Second <br /> <br />of Centerville <br />spring of 1993 <br />Addition. <br />
