<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 8, 1992 <br />page four <br /> <br />District bill in the amount of $8,060.92. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to authorize the City <br />Engineer to contact the Department of Natural Resources and the <br />Rice Creek Watershed District regarding the Peltier Lake Drive <br />culvert crossing to obtain proper direction prior to initiating <br />the project for a cost not exceed $1,800.00, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Buckbee to direct the <br />Clerk/Administrator to update the City Council on the terms of <br />the Clearwater Creek Flood Reduction Project bond issue <br />specifically the call date of the bond, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Municioal Buildina <br />The City Council reviewed <br />Company for construction <br />municipal building. <br /> <br />a proposal <br />management <br /> <br />from Gilbert Construction <br />services for the proposed <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee advised that Gilbert Construction appears to feel <br />that they can complete the project by the end of the year. <br /> <br />Council member Burgstahler expressed that the proposal did not <br />appear to include pump house items in the Gilbert Construction <br />proposal. He noted the City is on a tight budget and that if the <br />City can do the project cheaper without compromising the Fire <br />Department this is an option that needs to be looked at. <br /> <br />The Clerk/Administrator shall set up a meeting of the Building <br />Task Force to review the proposal. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />North Metro Recreation Bud2et <br />Metro Recreation Commission <br />Ms. Turgeon explained that the <br />will not be increased for 1993 <br />to be $5.43 per household for <br />the goal of the North Metro <br />program self supporting, based <br /> <br />- Pat Turgeon. Chairperson North <br /> <br />proposed budget for the Commission <br />and that the cost would continue <br />each City. She advised that it is <br />Recreation Commission to have the <br />upon fee based programs. <br /> <br />Ms. Turgeon expressed concern regarding ice falling off the water <br />tower at the Water Tower Park in relationship to the new <br />playground that has recently installed. <br /> <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, suggested that a snow fence be put <br />up around the tower in the winter time. <br />
