She also noted that she
spoken to Gerry Sande, Chairperson of the Rice Creek Watershed
District. He advised that it appears that the Board of Managers
is no longer concerned that the project should not move forward
because it would conflict with Rice Creek Watershed District
policies to reduce a flood plain area. The District also appears
to have verified that the project as proposed by the City of
Centerville would not lower creek below that of the original
construction. Mr. Sande advised that the Rice Creek Watershed
District would provide written documentation of those two
findings and make an suggestion on how to proceed.
