<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 11, 1992 <br />page two <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held a public hearing on Wednesday, March 11, <br />1992 at the City Hall. The purpose of the hearing was to hear <br />all persons present regarding the possibility of amending <br />Ordinance #33-A DISTRICT FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE. Acting <br />Mayor Pelton called the public hearing to order at 7:06 p.m. <br />Present: Dario, Wilharber. Absent: Buckbee, Burgstahler. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Pelton summarized the proposed amendment to the City <br />Council and audience members. No comment was made from the City <br />Council member or audience members present. <br /> <br />Motion by Dario, second by Wilharber to adjourn the public <br />hearing, motion carried unanimously. Hearing adjourned 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Jeff Carlstrom and Gary P. Turpenin~ - Merser of Firms <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario to table the appearance of <br />Jeff Carlstrom and Gary P. Turpening until they arrive, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Architect Contract - Amendment to Include Turpenins Firm <br />Motion by Dario, second by Wilharber to table the discussion of <br />the Architect Contract until Jeff Carlstrom and Gary P. Turpening <br />arrive, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Annexation - Plapner <br />Wally Case, Dahlgren, <br />Council to discuss <br />planner services with <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Shardlow and Uban, appeared before the City <br />a reduction in the scope of the proposed <br />regard to the proposed annexation. <br /> <br />A copy of the letter dated March 10, 1992 regarding the reduced <br />scope expert testimony services related to the proposed <br />annexation is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Pelton questioned how additional meetings (not <br />included in the scope of the project) would be billed. <br /> <br />Mr. Case noted that the City of Centerville would be billed at <br />the appropriate hourly fee for the service required. The costs <br />could also be kept down by scheduling meetings at their office. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Pelton asked what experience Mr. Case has with the <br />annexation procedures. <br />
