City Council Meeting Minutes March 11, 1992 page three Mr. Case noted that he is a Registered Landscape Architect and that John Shardlow is a City Planner. Mr. Case noted that he was slightly involved with the annexation procedures with the City of Monticello. Council member Dario noted that the reduction of scope was basically a reduction in the exhibits. Mr. Case noted that the firm of Dahlgren, Shard low and Uban can be flexible with the content of the service. The City Council noted that John Miller, former Lino Lakes City Planner, had expressed interest in providing planning services for the City of Centerville. Motion by Dario, second by Pelton to Shardlow and Uban as the planners for Annexation as per the letter dated March reduced scope, motion carried unanimously. accept the Dahlgren, the 35E Interchange 10, 1992 with the The City Council members present discussed a letter dated February 17, 1992 from Alan Brixius, Vice President, Northwest Associated Consultants, Inc. regarding Centerville Planning Services. A copy of this letter is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. It was noted that there could be conflict of interest with regard to Northwest Associated Consultants, Inc. providing services to the cities of Lino Lakes and Centerville. APPEARANCES Jeff Carlstrom and Gary P. Turpenin2 - Mer~er of Firms. Jeff Carlstrom introduced Gary P. Turpening to the City Council. Mr. Turpening noted that he has a strong technical background. Mr. Turpening expressed that the merger between the Carlstrom Companies and himself will create a stronger entity and could be very beneficial to the City of Centerville.
