<br />City Council Working Session <br />February 13, 1992 <br />page two <br /> <br />Council by the Carlstrom Group Incorporated; <br />Based upon the understanding that the estimated cost of <br />the building as described above would be approximately <br />$465,000.00; <br />with regard to the Site Plan Study for the Centerville <br />Fire Station and City Hall as prepared by the Carlstrom <br />Group dated January 15, 1992, the City Council is most <br />agreeable to develop Site Plan B and that this <br />consensus shall be communicated the Municipal Building <br />Task Force for their consideration; <br />The appropriate City Staff and the Financial Liaison <br />shall contact the Municipal Financial Advisor for <br />specific financial lease/purchase information, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee <br />Milo Bennett <br />facilities. <br /> <br />shall contact <br />regarding the <br /> <br />the Centennial Fire District Chief <br />City Council's desire for shared <br /> <br />GOALS AND PRIORITIES <br />A list of the Goals and Priorities is attached to and made a part <br />of these minutes. <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />It was requested that additional items being the Star City <br />Program and the Tree City U.S.A. Grant Program be added as <br />additional to the 1992 Goals and Priorities. <br /> <br />Many of the items listed have already been discussed or are <br />already are in process. <br /> <br />Public Works <br />It appeared to be the consensus of the City Council that a full <br />time public works person would be appropriate. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to direct the City <br />Staff to prepare an amended job description that would be <br />appropriate for a full time public works director; <br />the position would entail 40 hours per week with an <br />8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. availability; <br />the job description shall address the physical and <br />mental aspects of the job position; <br />work independently and prior experience with regard to <br />liability and safety programs; <br />the City Staff shall also prepare a draft advertisement <br />for the position, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />~ <br />~-~~;.~~~ <br />
