<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held a Public Hearing on Wednesday February <br />12, 1992 at the City Hall. Mayor Buckbee called the public <br />hearing for the petitioned re-assessment of the Center Hills, <br />First Addition Development to order at 7:05 p.m. Present: <br />Burgstahler, Dario, Pelton, Wilharber. <br /> <br />No audience members were present to comment on the re-assessment. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to close the Public <br />Hearing, motion carried unanimously. Public Hearing adjourned at <br />7:06 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant <br />City of <br />February <br />meeting <br />Pelton, <br /> <br />to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday <br />12, 1992 at the City Hall. Mayor Buckbee called the <br />to order at 7:06 p.m. Present: Burgstahler, Dario, <br />Wilharber. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to approve the January <br />22, 1992 City Council meeting minutes with the following <br />amendment: <br />Page One, Paragraph Six <br />Now Reads: <br />".. .He noted that the City..." <br />Amend to Read: <br />".. .He noted that the Centerville <br />Elementary. . . " <br />AYE Buckbeej AYE Burgstahlerj AYE Darioj AYE- <br />Wilharberj ABSTAIN - Pelton, motion carried. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Milo Bennett. Centennial Fire District Chief <br />Milo Bennett, Centennial Fire District Chief, appeared before the <br />City Council to address District and/or Budget questions for 1992 <br />and 1993. Chief Bennett reviewed the Centennial Fire District <br />1991 Goals and Objectives and updated the City Council with <br />regard to the success of reaching those goals and objectives. <br />Chief Bennett also noted that the 1991 budget actual was <br />approximately $18,000.00 less then the budgeted dollar amount. <br />It is suggested that $6,000.00 be retained by the Centennial Fire <br />District to be put towards a "jaws of life" and that the <br />remaining $12,000.00 shall be split among the participating <br />cities based upon the current percentage paid by the respective <br />cities into the Centennial Fire District. <br /> <br />Sharon Deziel. Area ManaQer for the National Multiole Sclerosis <br />Society <br />Ms. Deziel advised that she is aware that 50% of the profits from <br />charitable gambling are required to be spent within the City of <br />Centerville and she saw this as no problem. <br />
