<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 12, 1992 <br />page three <br /> <br />Associates to prepare an update to the Centerville Storm Water <br />Master Plan to meet the requirement of a Local 509 Plan for a <br />cost not to exceed $5,000.00, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Storm Sewer <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, was available at the meeting to <br />address the Center Oaks Ditch cleaning project. It was discussed <br />that the Rice Creek Water Shed is requesting that the most <br />eastern end of the Almendinger ditch be re-routed so that it does <br />not enter directly into the wetland area behind Lot 16, Block 1, <br />Center Oaks I. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Buckbee to direct the City Engineer <br />to prepare documents for bidding of the Center Oaks ditch <br />maintenance to include the re-routing of the most eastern end of <br />the Almendinger ditch, the easement area along the north drainage <br />easement of the Center Oaks I subdivision and the connecting <br />ditch areas west of Centerville Road towards Centerville Lake, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Buckbee to authorize the Centerville <br />Ditch Liaison and appropriate staff to work with the property <br />owners west of Centerville Road regarding a waiver of trespass or <br />possibly permanent easement for ditch maintenance purposes, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />It appeared to be the consensus of the Council that an <br />informational meeting with the Center Oaks I property owners be <br />tabled until a later date. <br /> <br />It also appeared to be the consensus of the City Council that the <br />appropriate order of action for this project would be: <br />1. Order documents for the re-bidding of the project. <br />2. An informational meeting with the property owners. <br />3. Re-bidding of the project. <br /> <br />Storm Water Fund Ordinance #56 and Resolution establishin~ Storm <br />Water Fund char~es <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to approve Ordinance <br />#56 with the amendment that the wording "Storm Water Drainage <br />System" shall be used consistently through out the ordinance, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The City Council discussed the possibility of reducing the unit <br />charge of the residential new construction from $200.00 to <br />$100.00 per unit and off-setting this with a quarterly increase <br />from $2.00 per unit to $3.00 per unit for residential charges. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber <br />construction are going to <br /> <br />noted that new surfaces of new <br />be creating new problems for existing <br />
