<br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 9, 1992 <br />PAGE SIX <br /> <br />reply from the City Building Inspector, Gunnar Pettersen, <br />concerning the issuance of the reported permit. Council member <br />Pelton stated that any variance issued by the City Council must <br />meet the justification criteria as listed in Ordinance #4. <br />Council member Pelton sited that the lots in Royal Meadows are <br />small lots and that other residents have constructed garages that <br />meet the requirements of Ordinance #4. The issuance of a <br />variance is a special privilege granted to the property. Council <br />member Pelton stated that she sees no special condition of this <br />land or structure which would warrant variance approval at this <br />time. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee recommended that this matter be tabled until <br />reports from the Building Inspector and City Attorney are <br />received concerning this variance request and construction of <br />neighboring garages. <br /> <br />Pamela Burn, 7169 West Robin Lane, stated that a variance was <br />given to a house on the northeast corner of Main and West Robin <br />Lane (Lot 13). <br /> <br />Council member Pelton recommended that staff check the current <br />construction of the 10 x 12 accessory building on one of the lots <br />with non-conforming garages and that the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission review the accessory building ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Council member Dario to table the consideration of a <br />variance request for 7169 West Robin Lane to construct an <br />unattached accessory building (garage). The motion to table was <br />seconded by Council member Pelton and upon vote unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br />Motion by Council member Pelton to request <br />Zoning Commission review the accessory <br />Ordinance #4. Motion was second by Mayor <br />unanimously approved. <br /> <br />that the Planning and <br />building section of <br />Buckbee and upon vote <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee further recommended that staff notify the Burns <br />that their variance request will be further considered at a later <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />BE. LIQUOR LICENSE FEE INCREASE. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee recommended that the City Council entertain Item 6E <br />- Liquor License Fee Increase due to the number of people in <br />attendance that are interested in this matter. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee introduced the item and described the need for the <br /> <br />license fees to be comparable to the amount of cost that the City <br />
