<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held a public hearing on Wednesday, October <br />14, 1992 at the City Hall. The purpose of the public hearing was <br />to hear all persons present regarding the Reassessment of Non- <br />Petitioners for the 1987 Street Reconstruction Project. Mayor <br />Buckbee called the public hearing to order 7:04 p.m. Present: <br />Burgstahler, Dario, Pelton, Wilharber. <br /> <br />It was noted that three properties did not submit petitions. One <br />property owner choose not to participate and two property owners <br />can not be located. <br /> <br />No audience members were present at this public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by <br />hearing, motion carried unanimously. <br />7:07 p.m <br /> <br />Dario to adjourn the public <br />Public hearing adjourned <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />October 14, 1992 at the City Hall. Mayor Buckbee called the <br />meeting to order 7:08 p.m. Present: Burgstahler, Dario, Pelton, <br />Wilharber. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to approve the September 9, <br />1992 meeting minutes with the following correction: <br />Page One, Paragraph Two <br />regarding the approval of the July 22, 1992 meeting <br />minutes. The correction on the July 22, 1992 meeting <br />minutes should read: <br />"Page Two, Paragraph Five: <br />Now Reads: "Motion by Pelton, second by <br />Wilharber to table <br />discussion. . . " <br /> <br />Amend to Read: "Motion by Pelton, second by <br />Daria to table discussion..." <br /> <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Sheriff Ken Wilkenson of the Anoka County Sheriff's Department <br />Sheriff Ken Wilkenson of the Anoka County Sheriff's Department <br />appeared before the City Council to give an annual update. <br />Sheriff Wilkenson noted that the relationship with the Circle <br />Pines/Lexington Police Department is excellent. He meets with <br />Chief Dave VanBurkleo on a regular basis and continues good lines <br />of communication. He updated the City Council on items such as <br />criminal investigation, special services, cooperative under cover <br />drug enforcement efforts, drug dealer forfeiture money, canine <br />unit and gangs in Anoka County. <br /> <br />p <br />
