He also noted that
restoration work is not yet complete. He noted that it would be
nice for the ditch to be better than it is, but it would never be
completely dry and more puddles do occur over time with
sedimentation.

Center Street Crack Fillin~
The City Council considered the bid from American Paving and
Construction Company for crack filling longitudinal cracks on
Center Street between Pheasant Lane and Centerville Road. It is
the recommendation of the Public Works Director to accept the
bid.

It was noted that in reviewing the bid the City Engineer made the
following comments regarding the proposal:
a.) Include "rout out all cracks to 3/4" X 3/4.....
b.) How many linear feet of crack?
c.) Looks satisfactory.
d.) Amend to read: "Fill all cracks with hot pour KOCH
3405 hot pour rubber."
e.) Should be a three year warranty as we have done in the
past with previous projects.

The City Council expressed concern regarding spot projects, the
possibility that the road is currently under warranty from other
crack filling projects and that no quantity estimate has been yet
submitted with the bid.

Mr. Stewart advised that he has not physically reviewed the
street and is not aware of why the Public Works Director would
separate this section from all other streets within the City.

Motion by Burgstahler, second by
Engineering Liaison the authority
filling after review of the road way
dollar amount not to exceed
unanimously.

Buckbee to authorize the
to award the bid for crack
by the City Engineer for a
$1,500.00, motion carried

L'Allier Estates Pedestrian Access Across Clearwater Creek to the
Centerville Elementary School
