<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />Page seven <br />September 28, 1988 <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to require the drainage <br />outlot for the proposed Hardwood Pond Estates; to direct the City <br />Engineer to calculate the amount of park land that is above the <br />100 year flood elevation and accept that land as dedicated park <br />land; in the event that the land dedication in an amount that is <br />less than the required 10% park land dedication, the developer <br />would be required to add the in necessary lieu fee for the south <br />ten acres of the development, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Burgstahler to not approve more than <br />one building permit for the property which is proposed as <br />Hardwood Pond Estates until final plat approval, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to add to the developers <br />agreement with Gerry Rehbein for the Hardwood Pond Estates <br />development that no construction traffic will be allowed on Brian <br />Drive or Brian Way until the streets are complete, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Fritchie to add to the <br />developers agreement that the land not covered by blacktop, sod <br />or water will be seeded and mulched as soon as possible in the <br />spring to maintain appropriate erosion control, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of the pending grading permit for Hardwood Pond <br />Estates. Letters submitted to the City by Gerald Rehbein with <br />regard to storage of foundry sand on the property are on file <br />with the City Clerk. Council member Fritchie questioned the <br />letters. City Engineer, John Stewart, advised that the letters <br />submitted were not acceptable and must be more specific. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann that a fee will not be <br />charged to the developer for fill used to construct the streets <br />on the Hardwood Pond Development, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Burgstahler to amend the September <br />14, 1988 minutes, page seven, paragraph one: <br />-now reads: "that Metropolitan Council grants the City's <br />rezoning request for the area;" <br />-is amended in these minutes to read: "that the City Clerk <br />notify the Metropolitan Council regarding this minor <br />Comprehensive Plan amendmentj" <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Discussion of the Centerville Heights development. City <br />Engineer, John Stewart, advised that only minor items are left on <br />the project. The utilities will be put in before the October 12, <br />1988 City Council meeting.
