<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />page three <br />August 24, 1988 <br /> <br />-Bituminous curbing shall be installed around the parking <br />area; <br />-Provisions for guest and handicapped parking shall be <br />provided on site to the satisfaction of City staff and <br />City Council; <br />-Driveway width will be 16 feet; <br />-Landscaping as shown in the site plan; <br />-150% letter of credit for landscaping. All landscaping <br />will be guaranteed for a one year period. All <br />replacement plants will also be guaranteed for a one <br />year period; <br />-Developer will provide 6 foot high wooden fence sections <br />and 4 foot high spruce trees along the east property <br />line; <br />-The City will be given utility easements as recommended by <br />the City Engineer; <br />-All utility lines will be separate to each unit and shall <br />run outside of the buildings; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to vacate Westview Street <br />along Lots 7, 8, 9, and 10, Block 9 contingent upon: <br />-the area of Westview will be divided evenly between the <br />abutting property owners; <br />-the petitioners will reimburse the City for the cost of <br />such vacation; <br />-the area to be vacated will now have a ten foot utility <br />easement the length of the vacated street (placement to <br />be determined by City Engineer); <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />City Clerk will check on the feasibility of a street light on the <br />most westerly portion of Westview Street. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann that per the <br />recommendation of the City Engineer, to approve partial pay <br />estimate for Lake Area Utility Contracting for work completed <br />from August 2, 1988 to August 8, 1988 for the Short Street Sewer <br />Extension Improvement #88-1; the amount earned is $8,245.00, of <br />which $419.50 will be retained until the work is complete; the <br />total amount of the approved partial pay estimate is $7,825.50, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to adopt Ordinance #46 <br />regulating Permanent and Temporary Weight Restrictions within the <br />City of Centerville with the following items amended: <br />Article 2 <br />reads - ".. . impose upon vehicular traffic on any part <br />or all of the streets.. ."; <br />
