<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />Page Four <br />June 82 1988 <br /> <br />of $3,975 for the Mill Road Watermain Improvements; approval is <br />based upon the recommendation of the City Engineer, motion <br />carried unanimously_ <br /> <br />Brian Miller, City Engineer noted that the contract for Lake Area <br />Utility Contracting for the Mill Road Watermain Improvement came <br />in under budget. He also noted that there iB brown Bod in the <br />area that was to be restored, but that the City does have a <br />$36,000 warranty bond that can be used if the Bod is not <br />replaced. <br /> <br />Clerk advised that Kanco Construction haa not given an answer as <br />to whether they would pay for half of the soil borings on LaMotte <br />Drive. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Wilharber to implement a permanent <br />3 ton weight limit on LaMotte Drive, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />If Kenco Construction would like to use LaMotte Drive to have <br />access to his development at the end of LaMotte Drive in Lino <br />Lakes, he will have to approach the City Council for an <br />overweight permit and provide the appropriate bonding. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Wilharber to adopt Resolution #88- <br />43, implementing a planner escrow fee to be paid by the developer <br />at the time of sketch plan application submittal in the amount of <br />$500; any amount not absorbed by the planner will be reimbursed <br />to the developer, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />1989 Police Proposals will be reviewed Tuesday, July 26, 1988, at <br />7:00 p.m. at City Hall. <br /> <br />The first 1989 budget meeting will be held Wednesday, August 17, <br />1988, 7:00 p.m. The location will be arranged by the City Clerk. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br />Discussion of placement of trees in Center Oaks II. Clerk noted <br />that City Attorney advised that residents who remove trees <br />planted in the street right-of-way must replace those trees. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Fritchie to waive the obligation <br />of developers in Center Oaks II to install trees on wooded lots, <br />contingent upon the developer donating an equivalent number of <br />trees to the Centerville park department; the City will plant the <br />trees, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to direct the City <br />Clerk to instruct the City Attorney to look into what type of <br />ordinance would be required to limit heavy equipment on <br />residential property (other than construction of a home), CC <br />
