<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />page four <br />December 14, 1988 <br /> <br />Stewart, City Engineer, noted that it would be advisable for the <br />City to begin a maintenance program for the City with regard to <br />the City~s storm sewer system. He noted that some of the current <br />storm sewers are up to one half full. He noted that cleaning of <br />storm sewers would be more costly than sanitary sewers. Stewart <br />advised that late spring and early summer would be the most <br />desirable times to clean the storm sewers. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to direct the City <br />Engineer to prepare a cost estimate for the cleaning of municipal <br />storm sewers for purposes of future budget processing, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber noted that the new park building on <br />Central Park should be secure so kids or vandals can not enter <br />unsupervised. He also noted that there appears to be alot of <br />trash around the building from contractors. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to adopt Resolution #88-74 <br />to replace past Park and Recreation Committee Bylaws Resolution <br />III, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by <br />Ordinance #22-B as proposed with <br />Section 5. Compensation: <br />Now reads: <br />5.02 Subject <br />1794.25, . . . ; <br />Amend to read: <br />5.02 Subject <br />179A.25,... ; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Wilharber to adopt Personnel <br />the amendment as follows: <br /> <br />to Minnesota Statutes, Section <br /> <br />to Minnesota Statutes, Section <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to adopt Resolution #88- <br />75 City policy regarding City Planner contacts, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Neumann to request that Police <br />Chief Dean Campbell supply to the Centerville City Council a <br />breakdown of what the specific calls were to the Waterworks Bar <br />and Gregg's Centerville Lounge in 1988, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Carol Pelton, 7178 Mill Road, noted that the City may want to <br />contact other cities for cases on how and why liquor licenses in <br />their cities have been initiated. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to amend City Council <br />meeting minutes page 5, paragraph 6 to grant the liquor licenses <br />for Gregg's Centerville Lounge for 1989 through December 31, <br />
