<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />page five <br />December 14, 1988 <br /> <br />1989, to be reviewed March 31, 1989; Clerk is directed to write a <br />letter to Gregg Weiss owner of Gregg's Centerville Lounge to <br />advise him of the March 31, 1989 review, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Neumann to extend the fill removal <br />deadline for 7007 20th Avenue South until such time that the City <br />receives a response from the DNR regarding the property owners <br />concerns, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to approve the 1989 <br />budget, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />A copy of the budget is attached to and made a part of these <br />minutes. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber presented a list of City Council strives <br />and accomplishments within the last eight years. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Neumann to accept the list of <br />accomplishments as presented and that this list shall be attached <br />to and made a part of this meetings minutes, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor L'Allier recognized the efforts of Dennis Zerwas in putting <br />together the video taping of City Council meeting minutes. <br />Zerwas noted that the City now has $10,000 worth of video <br />equipment. He noted that many types of information could be put <br />on the cable channel. It was his suggestion that the City <br />attempt to find a student who be interested in taking over the <br />taping of the meetings and that funding of this student could be <br />through the municipal access funds provided by the Cable <br />Commission. Zerwas recommended that the Council try to locate <br />and obtain a 20 minute power source to retain City information on <br />the cable channel in the event of power outages or surges. <br /> <br />Des Englund, 7081 Brian Drive, noted that due to the addition of <br />City office equipment in the meeting room, the fire department <br />can no longer be accommodated for some of their meetings. <br />Englund noted that the fire department has made arrangements with <br />the Centennial School District to hold some of its meetings at <br />the Centerville Elementary School. He also advised that the City <br />may see a reduction in the amount of utility contribution by the <br />Fire Commission with regard to use of the City Hall building. <br /> <br />City Clerk noted that she discussed the "scaffolding" on the <br />Cellular I tower with the Building Inspector. He contacted <br />Cellular I and has advised the Clerk that it appears that the <br />"scaffolding" is in no violation to City ordinance, that it <br />appears the "scaffolding" has been up for at least three years, <br />
