CC Meeting Minutes Page four November 9, 1988 changes in the current sketch plan from that of the previous sketch plan, there would be a change in the total cost of the project, changes would have to be made in the feasibility study with regard to discussions of the flood plain and the floodway. He advised that overall there would not be a great deal of changes to the previous feasibility study to facilitate this sketch plan, but that the changes should be recognized. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to table consideration of the current sketch plan, as it involves a rezoning of the property, and it should be understood that no rezoning will take place until such time the redraft of the Centerville Comprehensive Plan is reviewed by the City Council, motion carried unanimously. John Stewart, City Engineer, advised that the pump on the water tower has been down about a week due to a defective piece of equipment. The pump should be running again by the end of this week. Motion by Wilharber, second by Burgstahler to bid $100 to the Centennial Fire District for the Centerville 1950 Studebaker fire truck; with the bid the Clerk will include a letter to the District emphasizing the sentimental value of the truck to the City of Centerville, as it was the first fire truck in Centerville, aye: L'Allier, Wilharber, Burgstahler, Neumann; nay: Fritchie. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS Clerk noted that residents of Royal Meadows were scheduled to attend this City Council meeting to advise that they were dissatisfied with the answers they received from the Park and Recreation Committee at their November 3, 1988 meeting. No residents of Royal Meadows were in attendance. Carol Pelton, Chairperson of the Park and Recreation Committee presented a written report to the City Council regarding their November 3, 1988 meeting with the concerned residents in Royal Meadows. A copy of this report is made a part of these minutes. Pelton also noted that the trail in the Hardwood Ponds Park will be moved about half way down the slope, away from the Royal Meadows property lines. Discussion of the depth of the pond in the Hardwood Ponds Park. Gerry Rehbein, developer, advised that there will be about six inches less water in the pond when the development is complete. The reason is that currently there is a constriction in the creek where the water flows to, and ~hat per the Rice Creek Watershed, he must remove the constriction which will decrease the water
