Such <br />license shall continue in force for the life of an animal <br />provided that the owner can show proof every two years <br />that the dog has shots within that period and provided <br />that the address of the owner remains the same. A <br />certificate of vaccnation authorized by a licensed <br />veterinarian for rabies shots must be presented at <br />the time of licensing. <br /> <br />Section V. A. Issuance of Tags. <br /> <br />Now Reads: Duplicate ,tags may be issued for $1.00 in <br />replacement of a lost tag. <br /> <br />Amended to Read: Duplicate tags may be issued in replacement <br />of a lost tag upon payment of a fee as set by the City Council. <br /> <br />Section VI. Records. <br /> <br />Now Reads: The City shall keep a record of all dog licenses <br />issued with the name, address and phone number of the person <br />to whom issued and name, age, description of the dog and <br />dates of rabies vaccinations. <br /> <br />Amended to Read: The City shall keep a record of all <br />dog licenses issued with the name, address and phone <br />number of the person to whom issued and name, age <br />and description of the dog. <br /> <br />Section X. Vicious Animals. <br /> <br />Now Reads: The Quarantine required by this section shall <br />not be necessary and the requirements shall be waived <br />whenever the owner of such dog or animal, immediately <br />upon receipt of the notice referred to above presents to <br />the Centerville Police the certificate of an authorized <br />veterinarian that the dog or animal was vaccinated for <br />rabies on a date less than one year prior to the date of <br />such no tice. <br /> <br />Amended to Read: The quarantine required by this section <br />shall not be necessary and the requirements shall be waived <br />whenever the owner of such dog or animal, immediately upon <br />receipt of the notice referred to above presents to the <br />Chief of Police the certificate of an authorized veterinarian <br />that the dog or animal was vaccinated for rabies on a date <br />less than one year prior to the date of such notice. <br /> <br />Section XII. Kennels. <br /> <br />Now Reads: 1. Payment of an annual kennel license fee <br />in the amount of $25.00. <br /> <br />Amended to Read: 1. Payment of an annual kennel license <br />fee as set by the City Council. <br />
