Parkview <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated she had received a request by Carlson and Associates for a <br />release offunds being held because the work is done on the Parkview Development. She <br />then indicated that the request was received on October 18, 2001 and sat since the City <br />had no administrator for a time. She then requested authorization to release the cash <br />deposit of$IO,OOO that was being held for sod escrow. Mr. Palzer confirmed that the <br />work is done. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Capra. seconded bv Council Member Nelson to release <br />the $10,000 cash deposit to Carlson and Associates as requested bv Staff. Annual Renewal of Special Use Pennits <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg requested that Item 4, Annual Renewal of Special Use Pennits, be <br />removed for discussion. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Travis, seconded bv Council Member Capra to approve <br />Consent Al!:enda Items 1, 2, and 3 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated he would like a list of who is operating under a special use <br />pennit. Ms. Bender indicated that County Bank did not renew. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked why Goetz Landscaping was not on the list because he had <br />indicated he was operating under a special use pennit for his greenhouse. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that Council had issued a conditional use <br />pennit until the main building was built. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked if the greenhouse was nonconforming. Mr. Patzer <br />indicated that the Planning and Zoning Commission and Council had determined that the <br />greenhouse was conforming under industrial zoning. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated that terminal transport was not in business any longer and <br />asked if they need a special use pennit. City Attorney Hoeft explained that the City used <br />to use special use permits to control the types of uses it would allow. He then indicated <br />that the ordinance has been revised and most of the uses operating under special use <br />pennits are allowed uses. <br /> <br />Page 13 ofl7 <br />
