<br />Motion by Council Member Nelson. seconded by Mayor Swedber!! to table this <br />matter and set a ioint discussion with the Plannin!! and Zonin!! Commission and <br />Council to !!o over the chan!!es to Ordinance #4. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra commented that even if this amendment is approved Council <br />would need to review the ordinance again to address the issue of the boat launches. She <br />then commented the City has been amending this ordinance since June 01'2000. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers commented that she feels the Ordinance would be <br />revisited within six months of approval of the next amendment. <br /> <br />Vote: Ayes - 4. Nays -1 (Broussard Vickers). Motion carried. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson asked Staff to schedule a time with the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />X. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers reported that the Parks and Recreation Commission <br />had questions concerning its final budget. She then indicated the Commission has been <br />discussing the issues with the skate park and needs to know its budget numbers when <br />making plans to change the skate parle <br /> <br />Council Member Travis reported that the Planning and Zoning Commission would be <br />reviewing Ordinance #61 which is an adult oriented businesses ordinance. He then asked <br />why that ordinance was picked for review. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated there is a concern on the Staff level to see if the Planning <br />Commission and Council wish to regulate tattooing and body piercing. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers commented that the ordinance was less than five <br />years old and suggested adding massage parlors to it. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg commented there is a new thing with non-alcoholic clubs with nude <br />dancing. Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that is already covered in the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked if the City would consider codification. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft explained that the City would need to compile all existing <br />ordinances and contract with someone to make stylistic and substantive changes. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra said she thought a previous Council had approved doing so. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers said she thought the City paid out money for the <br />servIce. <br /> <br />Page 1801'21 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.., <br />
