City of Centerville <br />January 14, 2004 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />staff look into a claim from Centennial Fire District regarding Rivard Electric and coding <br />for uniforms. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra, seconded by Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to approve the December 23, 2003 Council Meeting Minutes as amended. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IV. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> <br />1.The City of Centerville December 24, 2003 through January 14, 2004 Claims for <br />Approval <br /> <br />2.Centennial Fire District Claims <br /> <br />3.Centennial Lakes Police Department Claims <br /> <br />4.Park & Recreation Committee Request to Expend Funds Not to Exceed $100.00 <br />for Future Skate Night Activities <br /> <br />5.Mound Trail Pay Estimate – Larson Contracting <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Lee <br />to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney asked Staff to check on the coding of Check Number 14076 to Rivard <br />Electric as it states it is for a uniform expense. <br /> <br />VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />V. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />th <br />1. Mr. Paul Keleher, Sedona Homes Concept Plans 20 Avenue <br /> <br />Mr. Keleher of Sedona Homes presented his revised concept plans for development along <br />th <br />20 Avenue to Council. He then pointed out on the map the areas that they would ask for <br />a rezone to residential and those that would remain commercial. <br /> <br />Mr. Keleher indicated the number of units has been revised from 135 units to <br />approximately 80. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated he met with Mr. Keleher and Mr. Hanson from the <br />Planning Commission and he feels that this is a workable compromise and he would <br />support the rezoning but not a TIF district. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee asked whether the City needed to be concerned with spot zoning. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft said he does not think there would be an issue with the proposal. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked what the proposal for Lloyd Drilling’s property was. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 10 <br /> <br />
