City of Centerville
Council Meeting Minutes
June 23, 2004
Mayor Sweeney commented that the $2,175.00 is comparable to surrounding
communities.

Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that this is the Staff recommendation.

VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.

VIII. OLD BUSINESS

1.Recommendation for Hiring Public Works Maintenance Employee (Tabled)

City Attorney Hoeft indicated that he has reviewed the Minutes as taken from the tape
and it appears that Council had agreed to go back to the list should the two authorized
hires not work out.

City Attorney Hoeft indicated that he would recommend going back to the list and
finding out the next highest pointed person on the list and that would be the next eligible
person.
