<br />E. Dispose of all loose aggregate material collected by the sweeping operation at an <br />acceptable location outside the City limits. <br /> <br />F. If the CONTRACTOR fails to perform the second sweeping within the time <br />frame specified, a penalty of $ 100 per calendar day will be charged until the <br />sweeping is complete. <br /> <br />G. The OWNER reserves the right to delete all or portions of this sweeping at their <br />sole discretion. <br /> <br />3.10 PROTECTION <br /> <br />A. Conform to MnDOT Spec. 2356.G, except as modified herein: <br /> <br />I. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for damage done to any adjacent <br />driving surfaces, shoulders or boulevards. <br /> <br />B. Traffic Control: <br /> <br />1. Install and maintain warning signs at the entrances to developments or the <br />ends of the streets being seal coated: <br /> <br />a. Signs shall be 36" x 36" with the wording "Loose Rock." <br /> <br />b. Signs equipped with warning lights. <br /> <br />c. Signs to remain in-place until the sweeping of excess aggregate is <br />complete. <br /> <br />2. Flexible Raised Reflector Pavement Marking Devices: <br /> <br />a. The CONTRACTOR is required to install new flexible raised <br />reflector pavement marking devices to identify all existing <br />pavement markings where applicable. <br /> <br />b. The color must correspond to the existing pavement markings. <br /> <br />c. Install these devices 5 days prior to seal coating each specific <br />street. <br /> <br />d. The interval or spacing for this work shall be a minimum of lOO' <br />or where changes are made in the existing stripping. <br /> <br />e.
