<br />5. Employee Identification Cards. All regular <br />employees shall be provided with employee <br />identification cards. Cards also may be issued to <br />other employees who require City identification <br />while working in remote job sites. Each employee <br />is responsible for possession of their <br />identification card and shall protect it from <br />loss, theft or misuse. Unauthorized or <br />inappropriate use of the employee identification <br />card is prohibited. <br /> <br />E. Personal Activities. <br /> <br />1. Use of Personal Vehicle. Any employee who uses <br />the employee's personal vehicle for City business <br />must have insurance. The City may reimburse the <br />employee at the maximum rate allowed by the <br />Internal Revenue Service for business use of a <br />personal vehicle without the reimbursement being <br />taxable income. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Outside Employment. Employees must <br />work time to City business. No work <br />outside employment may be performed <br />time. <br /> <br />devote all <br />relating to <br />during work <br /> <br />An employee who joins the fire department must <br />report this to the employee's department head. <br />For pay purposes, time spent on fire calls shall <br />not be deducted from the time spent on the regular <br />job. All benefits and leaves shall continue to <br />accrue without regard to time spent on fire calls. <br /> <br />3. Soliciting. No employee shall actively solicit <br />membership in or contributions to any organization <br />or cause during regular work hours. <br /> <br />4. Political Activities. As provided in Minn. Stat. <br />Sec. 2llB.09, an employee or official of the City <br />may not use official authority or influence to <br />compel a person (1) to apply for membership in or <br />become a member of a political organization, (2) <br />to payor promise to pay a political contribution, <br />or (3) to take part in political activity. <br /> <br />F.
