<br />C. At the City's discretion, compensatory time may be substituted in lieu of overtime <br />pay. Compensatory time shall be taken as approved by the department head and City <br />Administrator in increments from one (I) hour up to the total number of hours <br />accumulated. The Council has set a maximum accrual of compensatory time at 40 hours. <br /> <br />D. Call-backs authorized by the City Administrator and/or Department Head are paid at a <br />two (2) hour minimum at a rate of one and one-half(IYz) times the regular rate of pay to <br />the extent permitted by law. <br /> <br />8.3 Workers' Compensation <br /> <br />A. Employees covered by workers' compensation, who are injured on the job and are <br />subsequently off work for three (3) consecutive days because of the injury, will receive <br />workers' compensation benefits. While receiving workers' compensation benefits, <br />employees will be paid the balance of their wages equivalent to the difference between <br />their workers' compensation benefits and their normal wages. These wages will be <br />deducted from their accrued leave balances; with sick leave to be reduced first and <br />vacation or compensatory leave next, if needed. Employees injured on duty shall accrue <br />the full vacation and sick leave benefits that they would have otherwise been eligible for, <br />while receiving workers' compensation benefits. <br /> <br />B. In accordance with Minnesota Statute 9 176, elected officials of the City and those <br />municipal officers appointed for a regular term of office are covered by the Minnesota <br />Workers' Compensation Act. <br /> <br />Article 9 <br /> <br />Emplovee Records <br /> <br />9.1 Data Privacy <br /> <br />A. Employee Records are maintained in a location designated by the City Administrator. <br />Data is kept in individual personnel files, finance files, and general personnel files. <br />Information is used to administer employee salary and benefit programs, process payroll, <br />complete state and federal reports, performance evaluations, etc. <br /> <br />B. No piece of information is retained unless required for a specific purpose. Employees <br />have the right to know exactly what data is retained, where it is kept, and how it is used. <br />All employee data will be received, retained, and disseminated according to the <br />Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. <br /> <br />Article 10 <br /> <br />Assie:nment of Work <br /> <br />10.1 Assigning and Scheduling Work <br />
