<br />WHAT ARE THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS? <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />'" Based on existing and projected traffic volumes, the proposed improvements <br />include reconstruction ofthe roadway with four through lanes, turn lanes, a <br />center median, pedestrian/bicycle path, and new drainage systems <br />(culverts/storm sewer.) <br /> <br />'" A transition section will be constructed between the 1-35 E east ramp and Otter <br />Lake Road. <br /> <br />'" The project received $3.6 million in Federal funding. Washington County, <br />Anoka County, Hugo, and Lino Lakes will provide the remaining funding. <br /> <br />'" The goal of the project is to provide a safe and efficient roadway that meets current and <br />future traffic needs, while minimizing social, environmental, and economic impacts. <br />
