<br />City of Centerville <br />August 28, 2002 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />Council Member Nelson indicated she had some issues with the proposed liquor <br />ordinance and would like to discuss that later in the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Nelson to close the public hearinl!. AIl in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg closed the public hearing at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />V. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Pheasant Marsh Phase II Bond Sale <br /> <br />Mr. Eilertson indicated that Resolution #02-033 would allow the City to pay itself back <br />from the bond proceeds. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson. seconded bv Council Member Travis to <br />approve Resolution 02-033 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked if City Attorney Hoeft reviewed all the <br />resolutions. City Attorney Hoeft indicated he had reviewed the resolutions and had no <br />issues with them. <br /> <br />Mr. Eilertson indicated that Resolution #02-034 sets the sale date for the bonds. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked whether it would be in the City's best interest <br />to shorten the call date to allow for faster prepayment because, in the past, developments <br />have been completed faster than anticipated. <br /> <br />Mr. Eilertson suggested shortening the call date by a year as that would not adversely <br />affect the City's borrowing rate. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded bv Mavor Swedberl! to <br />approve Resolution #02-034 with the call date chanl!ed to February 1. 2007. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Eilertson indicated Resolution #02-035 recognIzes that Council received the <br />application from the developer. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member <br />Carra to approve Resolution #02-035 with the date chanl!ed from the 26th to the <br />2St . All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member <br />Nelson to accept the Financial Advisory Service Al!reement with Juran & Moody as <br />presented.
