City of Centerville August 28,2002 Council Meeting Minutes and 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor Within the City of Centerville. Ayes - 4, Nays - l(Broussard Vickers). Motion carried. Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated she was opposed to removing the reference to conviction. VI. CONSENT AGENDA 1. The City of Centerville August 15, 2002 through August 28, 2002 Claims for Approval 2. Centennial Fire District August 21,2002 Claims 3. Pay Estimate #1 ~ Earth Burners (County Road 14 Water Main Extension) Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to approve the Consent Al!enda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. VII. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES 1. August 14. 2002 Council Meeting Minutes Council Member Capra requested the following change: On Page 2 of 21 change "no" to "now," Ms. Moore-Sykes requested the following change: On Page 11 of 21 change the word Hletter" to "article". 2. August 12.2002 Council Work Session Minutes 3. August 19.2002 Council Work Session Minutes Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to approve the Aueust 12, 14, and 19, 2002 Council Meetine Minutes as amended. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Council Member Travis abstained from voting on the August 12, and August 19,2002 Minutes as he was not present at the meeting. VIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES 1. 1540 Peltier Lake Drive City Attorney Hoeft indicated he met with City Staff last week and as a result the property was visited by the building official and Centennial Lakes police officers.
