<br />City of CentervilJe <br />August 28, 2002 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated her concern lies with the amount of water that he has to <br />get off of his property that ends up in the streets and freezes in winter. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers commented the person with the worst water problem <br />has nowhere to put the water. She then suggested the City absorb the cost of the street <br />portion to do the work that would drain the property. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg asked if it was possible to put a drain on the inside of the curb. Mr. <br />Peterson indicated that could be looked into and said he could run drain tile to the catch <br />basin. <br /> <br />Council asked Staffto send a letter to the residents and assist them by meeting with them <br />ifthe residents desire. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg asked that Staff proceed with all due speed on the collection of the <br />costs from Mr. Eibensteiner who has said he will not pay the charges. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated he would review the contracts to determine what, if <br />anything, can be done and provide advice to Council at the next meeting. <br /> <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Nelson to adiourn the AUl!:ust 28, 2002 City Council Meetinl!: at 9;45 p.m. All in <br />favor.
