<br />Mayor Swedberg asked if the City worked with the people in this situation, doing follow- <br />up with them. Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated they do not, they send the notice and that is <br />all. <br /> <br />Mr. Bisek stated the tenants had tried to clear up bill prior to the certification however <br />Waste Management would not accept payment. He believes it is because their records <br />were already turned over to the City. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers requested that a record of alternate addresses for <br />landlords be maintained by the City. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Nelson to close the public hearinl!:. All in favor. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Bisek questioned how he could get the bill paid so the lien was removed from the <br />property. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />V. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Mr. James Kilbane. 6873 Deer Court - Request for Extension for Ord. #4. Div. <br />100 (Fence) Compliance. <br /> <br />Ms. Judy Coates expressed to the Council her concern about the fence built by Mr. <br />Kilbane. She indicated it obstructs the view from her home and feels it is not in <br />compliance with City codes. <br /> <br />Ms. Coates explained that the fence is located in the Hunters Crossing subdivision. She <br />indicated there were two ponds in the area, which are blocked by the fence. The fence <br />goes in front of Lots 4, 5 and 6 on Hunters Crossing. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated the homeowner sent a letter indicating he <br />received written permission to place the fence closer to the street. Ms. Moore-Sykes <br />explained that the homeowner only has one violation, which is that the fence is too close <br />to the street on one side of the property.
