License applications shall be <br />reviewed by the City Administrator, and the Sheriff's Departme.nt <br />may run criminal histcry checks on applicants. <br /> <br />5. Denial of application. ~he license application may ~e <br />denied for any of the following reasons: <br /> <br />a. ~he application contains false, fra~dulent, or <br />deceptive statements. <br /> <br />b. The applicant has been convicted of or entered a <br />plea ot guilty within the previQus thre$ (J) years <br />to a violation of this ch~pter or ot any otha~ law <br />regulating the practice of massage, or of any law <br />prohibiting criminal sexual conduct, pro~titu~ion, <br />pandering, indecent conduct or keeping of <br />diso~~.rly house. <br /> <br />c.
