<br />Aprilll,2001 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg stated it seemed like the City puts lights at the end of cuI de sacs and at <br />intersections. He then asked if there were City specifications for lighting. Mr. March <br />noted the City does not have any language in the Code governing the specific level of <br />lighting required. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked Mr. March to e-mail Mr. Casper to let him know that <br />Council will review the matter when development occurs but be sure not to indicate that <br />the City would pay for the lighting. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked that Staff also let Mr. Casper know there is a <br />process to petition Council for more lighting and explain that process to him. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg noted that Mr. Jewell had asked the differences between a public versus <br />a private street. He had also asked how to make a private street public. Mayor Swedberg <br />asked Mr. March to provide the answer to Mr. Jewell. <br /> <br />VII. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Draft Goals/Trailwavs Discussion <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Swedben!, seconded by Council Member Nelson to table the draft <br />l!oals/trailways discussion. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers questioned why this item keeps coming back to <br />Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg stated the residents were interested in pedestrian access. <br /> <br />Mr. March stated he has asked the Parks and Recreation Committee to review any items <br />that pertain to the Comprehensive Plan so that those changes can be submitted with all <br />the other changes to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />2. Ordinance #39 (Signage) <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson, second bv Council Member Caura, to waive the <br />readinl! and auurove Ordinance #39 (Sh:nal!e) as vresented. All in favor.
