May 21, 2001 Fete des Lacs Festival Committee Meeting Minutes route. Mr. Cordel concurred. Discussion ensued regarding the parking and fireworks and what services Mr. Cordel could provide. Mr. Cordel requested a rough schedule of events that his services would be utilized for. Committee Member Sweeney stated that he had spoken with both Americana and Arrowhead Fireworks. Committee Member Sweeney stated that Arrowhead had said that they would put together a proposal for $2,500; however, same had yet to be received. Committee Member Sweeney stated that he felt the Comrriittee should forward the contract to Americana. Chair DeVine suggested that Mr. Jim March review prior to same. Discussion was had in regards to fireworks display areas. It was suggested to have Americana survey for the best possible site. Committee Member Sweeney stated that Waste Management would be donating their rubbish services totaling $250 and a contract needed to be forwarded to On- Site Sanitation for providing satellites at the park. Committee Member Sweeney stated that he felt the Amateur Radio Operators was a good idea. Discussion ensued in regards to the possibility of securing the use of . 4-wheels for the event from Waldoch Sports or someone else willing to provide same. V. NEW BUSINESS I. Letterhead & Mailing The Chair stated that the mailing had previously been discussed and that the letterhead should be utilized whenever possible. 2. Overall Event List and Timeline Chair requested comments on the presented timeline. The Chair stated that he would like to see this list refined more. Each member attempted to comply with same. VI. OLD BUSINESS None. VII. . ADJOURNMENT Motion made bv Committee Member Sweenev. seconded bv Committee Member Peil to adjourn the Fete des Lacs Committee meeting of Mav 21. 2001 at 8:15 p.m. All in favor.
