Task 0.0 Organize the effort Prior to undertaking any investigations or preparing any plans, the HKGi team will request that all available information related to the project and the project area be provided to our team so that we develop a clear understanding of any work or investigations that have been completed to date. We will also begin the process of compiling base information and mapping, so that any information contained in the map might be efficiently verified during our first visit to the community. Base map data will likely need to come from Anoka County and the City's consulting engineers (BRAA.) In order to facilitate the project with a complete understanding of the process for involving stakeholders; the role and responsibilities of the Steering Committee and city staff; schedules for the work; communication processes (focusing On communication with the community and affected property owners); and the need to fully understand the needs of the city as changes occur to Main Street (County Road 1+), we will meet with the Steering Committee to review the project and agree upon the approach to the work. The purpose of this task is to clarify intentions and roles at the outset of the project, rather than having to refocus or redirect efforts once work has begun. A meeting with the Steering Committee will be held as a "kick-off" to the project. Tasks: 0.1 Request all background information for the project area from the City of Centerville, including but not limited to current zoning designations and related ordinances, comprehensive plan designations and all sections relating to downtown and transportation, past plans impacting the project area, building condition assessments, property ownership records and property values (from Anoka County GIS data), prome information for the proposed roadway (CR 1 +--in order to better understand the impacts on remaining parcels and access opportunities) current and forecasted traffic volumes. Assemble base map information from available data provided by the City of Centerville, its consultants or Anoka County, including but not limited to property boundaries, building locations, contours, other physical features, existing and proposed roadway alignments, existing and proposed utility locations, and current aerial photography; to the extent that this information can be provided in digital formats, the resulting map mapping can be more effectively used in the planning process.
