As a small town within a
metropolitan region, Centerville has much to draw from; a strong and
compelling plan for this part of downtown should have a way of reflecting
the character of the town and the desires of its people, and the opportunities
that might be afforded by the realigmnent of CR 14. HKGi will begin its
investigations by attempting to establish the local influences for design and
development character - a process that will lead to a plan that reinforces
local qualities and opportunities - and by defIning the functional character
that will be necessary to support development within the project area.

The catalyzing event for this project is the proposed improvements and
redesign of CR 14, the HKGi team will be particularly observant regarding
the following existing transportation characteristics:

.

Current access and parking for properties affected by the CR 14
project;
Basic locations for new roadway rights-of-way lines and their
correlation with existing developments;
Potential impacts of the CR 14 project on access and parking for
affected properties;

.

.
