<br />City of Centerville <br />March 23, 2005 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Council thanked Mr. Burke for forming the partnership and for his willingness to invest <br />in downtown. <br /> <br />2. Mr. JeffHanzal. 7381 Old Mill Road - Request for Municipal Services Prior to <br />Scheduled Date - 2009 <br /> <br />Mr. Hanzal appeared before Council and explained that he would like to move up the <br />extension of City services down his street from 2009 to 2006 to allow him to sell and <br />develop the additional lots he has. <br /> <br />Council asked Staff to look into the costs and asked Mr. Banzai to contact the other <br />property owners on the street to determine their interest in services. <br /> <br />VL PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />1. Church of St. Genevieve Request for Comorehensive Plan Amendment/Soecial <br />Use Permit & Fee Waiver <br /> <br />Mayor Capra opened the public hearing at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra explained that there was some confusion as to whether the public hearing <br />was held at the Planning Commission meeting. She then explained that the motion <br />approved at the last meeting needs to be reconsidered. <br /> <br />Motion bv Mavor Capra. seconded bv Council Member Lakso to reconsider the <br />motion of approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment and fee waiver. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />There were no public comments. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Paar. seconded bv Council Member Lakso to close the <br />public heariUll. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra closed the public hearing at 7:01 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lakso. seconded bv Council Member Paar to approve <br />the request for Comprehensive Plan Amendment as requested and the City is to pav <br />for the amendment. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Mr. Wilharber provided an update to Council on progress with the construction schedule. He <br />then asked whether the rezone had been approved or whether it could be approved at this <br />meeting. <br /> <br />The Recording Secretary reviewed the Minutes and indicated that the rezone was approved at the <br />February 9, 200S meeting. <br /> <br />Page 3 of6 <br />
