City of Centerville March 23, 2005 Council Meeting Minutes Council thanked Mr. Burke for forming the partnership and for his willingness to invest in downtown. 2. Mr. JeffHanzal. 7381 Old Mill Road - Request for Municipal Services Prior to Scheduled Date - 2009 Mr. Hanzal appeared before Council and explained that he would like to move up the extension of City services down his street from 2009 to 2006 to allow him to sell and develop the additional lots he has. Council asked Staff to look into the costs and asked Mr. Banzai to contact the other property owners on the street to determine their interest in services. VL PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. Church of St. Genevieve Request for Comorehensive Plan Amendment/Soecial Use Permit & Fee Waiver Mayor Capra opened the public hearing at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Capra explained that there was some confusion as to whether the public hearing was held at the Planning Commission meeting. She then explained that the motion approved at the last meeting needs to be reconsidered. Motion bv Mavor Capra. seconded bv Council Member Lakso to reconsider the motion of approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment and fee waiver. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. There were no public comments. Motion bv Council Member Paar. seconded bv Council Member Lakso to close the public heariUll. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. Mayor Capra closed the public hearing at 7:01 p.m. Motion bv Council Member Lakso. seconded bv Council Member Paar to approve the request for Comprehensive Plan Amendment as requested and the City is to pav for the amendment. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. Mr. Wilharber provided an update to Council on progress with the construction schedule. He then asked whether the rezone had been approved or whether it could be approved at this meeting. The Recording Secretary reviewed the Minutes and indicated that the rezone was approved at the February 9, 200S meeting. Page 3 of6
