City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> October 28, 2009 <br /> and Councilmember Fehrenbacher to CLPD Governing Board for the month of <br /> December. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 2. Cooperative Purchasing Agreement (State of Minnesota) <br /> Finance Director Jeziorski reviewed background information. <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar to <br /> approve Cooperative Purchasing Agreement (State of Minnesota). All in favor. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 3. Re- Scheduling Citv Council meeting dates (November 11, November 25 & <br /> December 23, 2009 <br /> The City Council discussed rescheduling the November and December City Council <br /> dates. It was the consensus of the Council to move the November dates to Monday <br /> November 9, 2009 and Monday November 30, 2009. The rescheduling of the December <br /> 23, 2009 meeting would be determined at the November 9, 2009 City Council Meeting. <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br /> Re- Scheduling City Council meeting dates of November 11 and November 25 to be <br /> held on November 9 and November 30. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 4. Call for a Public Hearing on Delinquent Municipal Utilities & Rubbish Services <br /> Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br /> Fehrenbacher to approve Public Hearing on Delinquent Municipal Utilities & <br /> Rubbish Services on November 30, 2009. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 5. Pay Request #6, Peltier Lake Drive — Forest Lake Contracting - $256,057.93 <br /> Engineer Statz reviewed information on liquidated damages, options for the City Council <br /> to consider regarding the contractor's request for a time extension to the project's <br /> completion date, and the estimated cost of $8,000 to repair the road. <br /> The City Council discussed whether or not to extend the contract's completion date. <br /> Liquidated damages and withholding of the cost to repair the road were also discussed. <br /> Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br /> Fehrenbacher to approve the Pay Request #6, 2009 Peltier Lake Drive — Forest Lake <br /> Contracting - $256,057.93 withholding $8,000 for the estimated cost to repair the <br /> road as recommended by the City Engineer. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love to <br /> approve Pay request #6, 2009 Peltier Lake Drive — Forest Lake Contracting - <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
