Jim March stated that the council gave us permission to relocate some of the trees. Al <br /> LaMotte said he is willing to help move the trees at $70.00 per hour. Steve Brown <br /> suggested moving some of the trees to the park. <br /> Jim March mentioned a new tree grant that the City was awarded from the NSP Tree <br /> Trust called the Power of Working Together. It is a grant of $5,000.00 which covers 80 <br /> trees. The trees will be offered to the residents in the spring of 1999 on a first come first <br /> serve basis. Joe Goetz from Goetz Landscaping will order the trees and will offer classes <br /> on tree planting and maintenance. Mr. Goetz would also like to be the City Forester - he <br /> brings a lot of experience to the City. <br /> Mr. March mentioned that the Lions Club will be addressing the council regarding <br /> building a shelter at one of the parks. They will donate this shelter for use at the Fete des <br /> Lacs celebration.
