hain of FEB 2 3 1999
akes Little League
P.O. Box 161 • Circle Pines, MN 55014
February 19, 1999
Mr. Jim March
Centerville City Hall
1694 Sorel Street
Centerville, MN 55038
Dear Jim:
We would like to request the City of Centerville consider the enclosed Facility Use
Agreement as a proposed agreement between the City of Centerville and Centennial /Chain
of Lakes Little Leagues. Similar agreements have been used in other cities to clarify the
need of advance notice of field usage for program planning, budgeting and also to identify
our responsibilities with field maintenance.
The Centennial/Chain of Lakes Little Leagues have been very active in assisting the City of
Centerville in developing Lamotte Park. The Leagues will be investing over $10,000
before the first game is played. As an organization, we need some assurance the children
participating in our programs will be able to continue play at this park in the future while
we continue to help the city develop, upgrade, and maintain the park. We look forward to
continued participation and hope the City will understand our need for this agreement.
We would be pleased if you could direct this request through the proper channels and
would appreciate notification of any meetings where we might be able to answer questions
of anyone concerned. If you have any questions regarding this please feel free to contact
me. My home phone number is (612) 786 -7175. Thank you so much for your assistance.
Sincerely,
4
Patrick Mahr, President
Centennial/Chain of Lakes Little Leagues
PM/lq
Enclosure
