NOT APPROVED <br /> CENTERVILLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> June 15, 1999 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Centerville Economic Development <br /> Committee held their regular scheduled meeting on June 15, 1999 at City Hall, 1880 Main <br /> Street. <br /> Present: Councilmember Dick Travis <br /> EDC Chairperson Tim Rehbine <br /> Committee Member Mary Capra (Left meeting at 8:30) <br /> Committee Member Paul Montain (Left meeting at 9:50) <br /> Committee Member John Magill <br /> Committee Member Lori Dorn <br /> Staff: Aimee Fairbrother EDC /Staff Liaison <br /> Absent: None <br /> Appearances: None <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Committee Member Tim Rehbine called the meeting to order at 7:09 p.m. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion by Ms. Capra to approve the May 1999 meeting minutes. Mr. Montain seconded <br /> the motion. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> DESIGN TEAM "IDEAS IN ACTION" <br /> Heritage Museum: Lori Dorn indicated she has reviewed information from the Minnesota <br /> State History Center given to her by Ms. Capra. The information explains qualifications <br /> and city requirements that need to be met if the city would choose to preserve roadways, <br /> buildings, etc. If a decision is made to preserve a historical site/structure in Centerville, <br /> the city could choose to either create a heritage preservation authority, or incorporate a <br /> city zoning ordinance that would contain guidelines and standards set up by the city.
