CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> The project is feasible from an engineering standpoint and is in accordance with the <br /> Comprehensive Water Main Plan. The proposed work also follows the Design Team <br /> recommendations for redevelopment of downtown Centerville. <br /> The following recommendations are presented for the City Council's consideration: <br /> 1. This report be adopted as a guide for improvements to the Water Main system. <br /> 2. The proposed streetscape design should be carefully reviewed, and a scheme <br /> developed for the entire downtown area. <br /> 3. Permanent easements should be obtained on each side of Centerville Road between <br /> Main Street and Heritage Street, to obtain the desired streetscape look. <br /> 4. Assessments to properties should be closely analyzed and reviewed by City Staff. <br /> 5. A public information meeting should be held to receive public input regarding the <br /> proposed improvements. <br /> 5 <br />
