No person shall discharge any dangerous weapon <br /> or dangerous instrument within the City, except at a duly <br /> authorized shooting range while such range is supervised, <br /> subject to the exception provision in Section 720.06 hereof. <br /> • <br /> 720.05 Defense. Ncthin9...n this section shall be construed - <br /> to prohibit the discharging of any dangerous weapon or <br /> dangerous instrument imhen done in the lawful defense of <br /> person, property, family or the necessary enforcement of the <br /> law. <br /> 720.06 Exception. The provisions of this section shall not <br /> apply to any police or'peace officer, sheriff cr any officer <br /> • of the United states, thae State of Minnesota, or any of its <br /> counties who may discharge a fire an -n or gun in the City in <br /> the course and scope of their duties. <br /> 720.07 Penalty.
