F&Z Meeting Minutes <br /> September 5, 1991 <br /> page two <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Thursday, September 5, 1991 at the City Hall. Chairperson <br /> Tourville called the meeting to order at 7:26 p.m. Present: <br /> Welk, Vermeulen, Drilling, LaMotte, City Council Liaison <br /> Burgstahler. <br /> Chairperson Tourville welcomed newly appointed Planning and <br /> Zoning Commission member LaMotte and thanked him for his <br /> interest. <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Drilling to approve the August 6, <br /> 1991 meeting minutes; Aye - Vermeulen; Aye - Drilling; Aye - <br /> Welk; Aye - Tourville; Abstain - LaMotte, motion carried. <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Vermeulen to table the August 27, <br /> 1991 special meeting minutes; Aye - Vermeulen; Aye - Drilling; <br /> Aye - Welk; Aye - Tourville; Abstain - LaMotte, motion carried. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Possibility of amending Ordinance #4. Article 2. - Article 2,- <br /> ZONTNG DTSTRTCTS AND DISTRTCT REGUJ1ATTOJS, Section 24. SCHEDULE <br /> OF RFGULATTONS. <br /> • Motion by Vermeulen, second by Welk to recommend to the City <br /> Council to approve an amendment to Ordinance #4, Article 2, <br /> • Section 24 (7) as follows: <br /> Now Reads: <br /> (7) All future new dwellings in R -1, R -2A, R -2, R -3, R -4, <br /> Single Family Residential Districts shall have an <br /> • <br /> • attached double garage of a minimum of 440 'square' <br /> feet. <br /> Amend to Read: <br /> (7) All future new dwellings in R -2A, R -4, Single Family <br /> Residential Districts shall have an attached double <br /> garage of a minimum of 440 'square' feet. <br /> (7a) All future new dwellings in R -1, R -2, R -3, Single <br /> Family Residential Districts shall have a double garage <br /> of a minimum of 440 'square' feet. <br /> Aye - Vermeulen; Aye - Welk; Aye - Drilling; Aye - LaMotte; Nay - <br /> Tourville, motion carried. <br /> Chairperson Tourville noted that the reason he voted against the <br /> above amendment is that he prefers to not to have garages <br /> required in the R -1 Rural Residential and R -3 Future Expansion <br /> Zoning Districts. <br />
