According to <br /> his calculations it appears that there would be approximately ten <br /> units per acre. There is an approximate total of 9.60 acres <br /> which includes Wacota Drive. <br /> Chairperson Tourville expressed agreement with the style of the <br /> individual buildings. In his opinion the single story floor plan <br /> is more desirable. The two car garage is also more desirable. <br /> Chairperson Tourville stated that, in his opinion, the revised <br /> sketch plan lacks imagination in layout, that it has a barracks <br /> type appearance. <br /> Mr. Rehbein stated that he could twist the buildings, but then he <br /> would be looking at getting variances. <br /> Chairperson Tourville questioned if the revised sketch plan meets <br /> the setback requirements. <br /> Commission member Welk expressed that, in her opinion, there was <br /> nothing attractive about it. <br /> Mr. Rehbein stated that the landscaping will really dress this <br /> development up. <br /> Commission member Drilling stated that with the higher price <br /> range than the previously proposed sketch plan the likelihood of <br /> renters would be much less. <br /> Chairperson Tourville expressecl that. the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commisison has approved the concept of townhomes in this area of <br /> the City. He likes the design of the buildings, the only problem <br /> is with the layout. He questioned if whether it can not be laid <br /> out to add a little more uniqueness to the site. <br /> Commission member Wilharber expressed that the revised sketch <br /> plan does appear to be regimental. He likes the housing design <br /> better. <br /> Commission member Drilling stated that he has seen townhome <br /> projects that are layout similar to this. He felt that berming <br /> would improve the appearance. <br /> Commission member Vermeulen expressed that she does like the <br /> single level design better, but that the revised sketch plan does <br /> appear to be monotonous. She also expressecl that landscaping <br /> could add a lot. <br />
