He also questioned as to what <br /> kind of control the city can place on this to assure quality. <br /> Motion by Welk, second by Drilling to table Gerald Rehbein's <br /> request for rezoning until Northwest Associates, city planner, <br /> review the preliminary plat, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Welk to recommend to the City <br /> Council that Maier, Stewart and Associates prepare a feasibility <br /> study for Gerald Rehbein's proposed eight -plex, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> May Overlays - Tom Wilharber. <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Vermeulen to table the discussion <br /> of map overlays due to the fact the Commission member Wilharber <br /> is not present, motion carried unanimously. <br /> industrial Park - Possible rezoning to Commercial - Structural <br /> quality of buildings - Permitted Uses. <br /> It appeared to be the general consensus of the Commission that <br /> since it was sold as Industrial, it would not be fair to the <br /> property owners to rezone to commercial. <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Welk to recommend to the City <br /> Council that at this time the Planning and Zoning Commission does <br /> not find it necessary to rezone the Industrial Park properties to <br /> commercial due to the possibility of down zoning of the <br /> properties, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Gerald Rehbein <br /> Gerald Rehbein expressed concern about the preliminary plat <br /> review checklist required by the City. Mr. Rehbein feels that <br /> some of the requirements place a financial burden on the <br /> developer. <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Vermeulen to revise the <br /> Preliminary Plat Review Checklist as follows: <br /> - that the pages be numbered; <br /> - that the information required on page three- <br /> , Subdivison Plat - (e) street pattern through page five <br /> - Restrictions, be required after preliminary plat <br /> approval; <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br />
