He will not be the builder, his plans are only for <br /> developing the property. <br /> Dan Belland, 1994 North Robin Lane, presented a petition from <br /> twenty -six of the residents of Royal Meadows. This petition is <br /> on file with the Clerk /Administrator. <br /> The following audience members asked questions and made comment <br /> regarding the public hearing on the proposed rezoning: <br /> Kim Sanborn, 1994 South Robin Lane <br /> John Buckbee, 7381 Peltier Circle <br /> Robert Hill, 1983 Cardinal Drive <br /> Joy Walsh, 1989 North Robin Lane <br /> Dan Belland, 1994 North Robin Lane <br /> Ryan Walsh, 1989 North Robin Lane <br /> Linda Sanborn, 1994 South Robin Lane <br /> Some of the following comments were made by the above audience <br /> members: <br /> - Why was an eight -plex versus single family housing. <br /> - How far back from 20th Avenue would they sit. <br /> - Is this consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> - Would this be subsidized low rental units. <br /> - Want quality construction. <br /> - Estimated sale price. <br /> - Increase in traffic. <br /> - Safety of children in area. <br /> - Resale value of homes in the Royal Meadows development <br /> could be lessened. <br /> - What if the property does not sell and it does become <br /> rental property. <br /> Joy Walsh, 1989 North Robin Lane, presented a letter from Rob and <br /> Sandee Heineman, 1989 North Robin Lane who were unable to attend <br /> the Public Hearing. This letter is on file with the <br /> Clerk /Administrator. <br /> Comments responding to resident concern were made by Gerald <br /> Rehbein. Some of the concerns addressed were as follows: <br /> - It would be more economically feasible for either high <br /> density housing or its present industrial use. <br /> - The project would roughly sit 100' from 20th Avenue. <br /> - The units would be privately owned with one common <br /> ground, everybody pays dues to maintain through a home <br /> owners association. <br /> - High density in this area appears to be what the City <br />
