The City Council could have a Planner review the plat <br /> and give their professional opinion on what would be best suited <br /> per City ordinances. They do need to have the public's opinion, <br /> but that the ordinances must be followed. <br /> Liaison Pelton also expressed that one of the reason for high <br /> density housing in this area was to create a transition from <br /> single family to the current industrial use. <br /> Commission member Welk explained that the only concern the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission is here to addresses is what the <br /> zoning will be. <br /> Motion by Wilharber, second by Vermeulen to adjourn the public <br /> hearing, motion carried unanimously.
