P & Z Meeting Minutes <br /> Page <br /> September 6, 1988 <br /> Mr. Huber stated that he disagreed with the Planner <br /> recommendation that the developer pay for 100 percent of the cost <br /> of the collector street. He feels that all who have access <br /> should pay. He asked for sketch plan approval and direction on <br /> their next (move, <br /> Discussion followed. George Haberman, 7288 Mill Road, asked <br /> questions concerning ing to . size and possible buffers behind homes <br /> along Mill Road that are already in. He stated that, the proposed <br /> area of Acorn Creek is presently zoned R -1 and that there will be <br /> a lot of objection to the rezoning to R -2A by residents on the <br /> north. He stated that the developer is making coincessi?ns for <br /> the north side by making larger lots and asked "What about people <br /> west and south with large lots ?" <br /> Nr. Huber stated that they could put. 30 foot lots (lots 12 <br /> through 15) by cutting down the size of lots 10 and 11. He said <br /> that the development would be done in two phases, with the south <br /> end being first. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Drilling to recommend that the laity <br /> Council amend the Comprehensive Plan and apply for a MUSA <br /> extension for the north , on::_ -'half of Hardwood Ponds, and Acorn <br /> Creek and Cen ierhi 1.i developments, motion carried unaniPo.7sly <br /> It appeared to be the concensus of the Commission that it woiuld <br /> be premature to approve the sketch plans for Acorn Creek and <br /> Centerhill until after the approval by Metro Sewer of the MUSA <br /> extension:. <br /> Chairman Tourville questioned Mr, Chromey of F R R Investments, <br /> developer for (_ ntcrhl.1 concerning the. Planner recommendation. <br /> for t he northeast corner of the development. Assistant Clerk was <br /> asked to relay request to City Clerk. <br /> Discussion of budgeting for the League of Minnesota Cities <br /> magazine for members Welk and Vermeulen, at a cost of $30 for one <br /> year. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Drilling to approve of adding $30 <br /> to the 1989 budget for the League magazine, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br />
