There <br /> appeared to be a difference in interpretation of the part of the <br /> Planners report (pg. 2, ist para.) which discusses phases of <br /> approval for the development. Vermeulen and Drilling feel that <br /> the planners are ask.ng that the city wait, and John Stewart and <br /> Chairman Tourville feel that they are suggesting the city approve <br /> the south portion, presently in the MUSA, so that construction <br /> can begin. <br /> Vermeulen and Lindgren both commented that we just changed to <br /> 11,500 foot lots and now we are being asked to lower our <br /> standards by averaging from 10,000 up to and over 11,500. <br /> Chairman Tourvilbe called a recess at 9:00 p.m. <br /> Meeting resumed at 9:13 p.m. <br /> A short discussion concerning MUSA extensions and the need for <br /> more homes to be hooked up to City water followed <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Lindgren to set a public hearing <br /> for September o, 1988 for rezoning the south one-hall of the <br /> proposed Rehbein development, which is presently in the MUSA, <br /> from Commercial to R -2A Residential, motion carried unanimously. <br /> After more discussion, Vermeulen withdrew the motion and Lindgren <br /> withdrew his second. <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Drilling to recommend City Council <br /> approve ;Ale Rehbein ohetc}, p u.i i - .cnti c:nt ., the de <br /> �..... nt7, ._ .. <br /> making Brian Way a cul -de -sac, that all lots be a minimum 11,500 <br /> square feet, that the path be changed to the north side of lot <br /> 4t10 and extend down 30 feet on the east edge, and that the path <br /> to the park be 20 feet wide, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Drilling to hold a special meeting <br /> Tuesday, August 23, 1938 for a public hearing to discuss rezoning <br /> the south ten acres of the proposed Rehbein development which is <br /> presently in the MUSA, from Commercial to R -2A Residential, <br /> (notion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Vermeulen to hold a special meeting <br /> at 7:30 p.m. on August 23, 1988 between the City Council and the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission, with the City Planner, the City <br /> Engineer, and Barry Bloomquist (Attorney for North Branch) to <br />
